On the eve of the new academic year, the DEFEP project team met with Jurij Reshetnik, Deputy Head of the Software Development Department at Privatbank, who takes an active part in ensuring the educational process at the Faculty of Computer Science of Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University.
During the meeting, there was an active discussion of topics important for the modern IT industry, including:
➢ Software development trends: What technologies and approaches are currently most in demand?
➢ Digitalization and distance education: What are the advantages of a distance form of higher education? How to combine successful work in IT with studying for a master’s degree?
➢ Career opportunities: What skills and knowledge do young specialists need to get a job in leading companies?
➢ Business-education cooperation: How can a university better prepare students for the realities of the labor market?
Such meetings are extremely valuable, because they allow us to jointly form a modern educational program that meets the demands of the labor market and trains a new generation of specialists.
