On June 22, 2023, the International Forum of Educators and Employers titled "DISTANCE EDUCATION OF THE FUTURE: CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS" concluded. The forum was held as part of the Erasmus+ KA2 international project "Distance education for the future: best EU practices in response to the requests of modern higher education seekers and the labor market."

The fifth panel discussion, which took place today, focused on corporate distance education and showcased examples of best practices in the business sector. Esteemed representatives from successful companies such as EPAM, DTEK Academy, AgroAnalytics, and PrivatBank participated in the final panel discussion. Key speakers, including Oleksandr Tkachenko, Yuriy Reshetnyk, Svitlana Birzul, Tetiana Sherman, and Volodymyr Heraimovych, shared their insights and perspectives.
At the end of the forum, a facilitated session on design thinking titled “Creative ideas for better decisions in distance education” was conducted. During this session, all forum participants collaborated to find an answer to the main question: “How can higher education institutions train specialists who will meet the needs of employers under martial law?”
In today’s context, it is increasingly crucial for modern universities to serve as platforms for open communication and the exchange of ideas, while upholding their academic competencies. The advent of new technologies has not only revolutionized people’s way of life but has also significantly impacted education. One notable consequence is the rapid rise in the popularity of distance education. As a result, the functions and format of education are evolving, necessitating corresponding changes in the organization of the learning process. Embracing a digital ecosystem of solutions in the education sector will undoubtedly contribute to ensuring the high-quality training of competitive future professionals.
