The official opening of the Erasmus+ project in the field of Capacity Building in Higher Education «Distance Education for Future: Best EU Practices in Response to the Requests of Modern Higher Education Seekers and Labor Market» (DEFEP) took place on April 3–6, 2023 in a hybrid format. The presentation of the project and participants took place on April 3, 2023. On that day, welcoming speeches from EACEA Project Officer Rosalba Nardelli and Heads of the National Erasmus Offices in Ukraine and Moldova Svitlana Shytikova and Claudia Melinte were delivered at Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University. The meeting to discuss organizational issues continued on April 5–6 in a hybrid format at Uman National University of Horticulture. Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University is the grand holder and coordinator of the DEFEP project. The project brought together 11 universities from Ukraine, Moldova, Spain and Italy, including Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University, Universität des Saarlandes, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Università degli Studi di Palermo, Universitatea de Stat din Moldova, Universitatea Tehnica a Moldovei, V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, Uman National University of Horticulture, Lviv National Environmental University and Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman.
