On May 14, 2024, the Computer Science Faculty of Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University held a presentation of the educational program “Software Engineering”, specialty 121 Software Engineering for the second (master’s) level of higher education, which will be implemented in a distance format, for representatives of employers. The presentation was attended by representatives of the Kharkiv IT cluster, GlobalLogic and the Software Development Department of PrivatBank. This educational program was chosen as an experiment within the framework of the international CBHE Erasmus+ DEFEP project “Distance Education for Future: best EU practices in response to the requests of modern higher education seekers and labor market”. Distance learning is an opportunity for a student to plan how, where, and how much time to spend on studying. Absolutely all processes take place through the online education platform in the applicant’s personal account. The guarantor of the educational program, Yevhen Davydenko, spoke about the main features of the educational process in a distance format, outlined the main competencies and program results that graduates acquire. The report aroused interest and approval of the audience.
