At the meeting of the Academic Council of the Uman National University of Horticulture, the Regulation on the distance form of obtaining higher education at the Uman National University of Horticulture was considered, discussed and approved, which paves the way for the implementation of distance education in the Master’s educational program “Economics of Social Security” selected for implementation within the project EU ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE-STRAND-2 DEFEP 📎”Distance Education for Future: best EU practices in response to the requests of modern higher education seekers and labor market” (“Distance Education of the Future: best EU practices in response to requests modern graduates of higher education and the labor market”).
📎The decision to choose the educational program “Economics of Social Security” of the second (master’s) level of higher education for this innovative method of learning was determined by its relevance and the urgent need to solve modern problems of the economy of social security with the help of modern educational tools and methodologies.
📎During the meeting, the Academic Council also approved the curriculum of the program. By introducing distance education, the university intends to offer more inclusive educational opportunities that can be adapted to different learning preferences and life circumstances.
