✅On February 29, 2024, during the meeting of the Academic Council of the Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University, the issue of developing distance learning in the university was discussed.
Members of the KNEU Academic Council listened to and discussed the presentation of the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and Digital Transformation, Marina SILCHENKO, who emphasized the need to improve the existing system of organizing distance learning in the university, taking into account foreign experience and research conducted within the framework of the Erasmus KA2 101083143 grant project “DEFEP: Distance Education for Future: best EU practices in response to the requests of modern higher education seekers and labor market.”
🟢As a result of the discussion, the Academic Council of KNEU named after V. Hetman made a decision regarding the development of distance learning in the Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University, particularly in terms of improving the model of organizing education through distance learning at the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education.
Public discussions on further development of distance learning in the university are also envisaged with the aim of improving local regulations governing the process of obtaining higher education through distance learning, as well as the possibility of introducing distance learning at the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education.
