On May 14, 2025, on the occasion of Science Day, an exhibition-presentation of the achievements of the university’s scientists was organized at the Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University. The location of international projects, the executor and coordinator of which is the PMBSNU, deserved special attention. The EU project under the Erasmus+ program in the direction of Building the Potential of Higher Education DEFEP “Distance Education of the Future: Best EU Practices in Response to the Requests of Modern Higher Education Applicants and the Labor Market” was presented by the coordinator Olena FILIMONOVA, who acquainted the exhibition guests with the goals, results and prospects for implementing the project’s achievements. The participants were interested in the opportunities that the project opens up for the transformation of higher education, in particular in the conditions of war in Ukraine. On this day, the leadership of the city and region joined in the solemn congratulations, in particular: Deputy Chairman of the regional military administration Oleksandr Trytly; Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Mykolaiv regional military administration Alla Velikhovska, as well as Oleksandr Senkevych – Mayor of Mykolaiv. Each of them appreciated the significance of international projects for the development of the university and the city community as a whole, as well as the advantages and prospects of distance education.
