🔰 On April 30, 2024, the final online meeting of the DEFEP-KNEU working group was held to summarize the work on the 4th package of the project.
The purpose of this stage was the creation of standard regulatory documents that regulate the implementation of the remote form of higher education at the university level.
During the online meeting, the members of the project group reported on the completed work in accordance with the tasks of work package 4.
Maryna Silchenko, project manager of DEFEP from KNEU, vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work and digital transformation, reported that large-scale work was carried out as part of the project, as a result of which the DEFEP-KNEU team formed a model of distance education, its principles and rules of operation in educational institutions. On the basis of this model, first of all, a typical Regulation on the distance form of obtaining higher education was developed, as well as 16 other documents that regulate various aspects of the educational activity of institutions that provide distance education. Such documents help to form a schedule of the educational process, a curriculum and solve various organizational issues.
🟢 During the work on the 4th package of the project, several participating Ukrainian universities are experimentally introducing distance education, among them the Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University and the Uman National University of Horticulture. In addition, the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman is improving its regulatory documents for distance education. Thus, in the spring period, all these universities approved new regulations to prepare a regulatory platform for the recruitment of students for the distance form of higher education during this 2024 admission campaign.
